    Queensland's Power Puzzle

As Queensland transitions towards a more sustainable energy future, balancing the state’s power sources presents a complex challenge. The region’s energy landscape is evolving, driven by the need to reduce carbon emissions, integrate renewable energy, and ensure reliable and affordable power for all.

However, achieving this balance involves navigating several key challenges, including managing the intermittency of renewable sources like solar and wind, modernising aging infrastructure, and aligning economic growth with environmental sustainability. A panel of leading experts discuss striking the right balance between traditional and emerging energy sources to secure Queensland’s energy future and meet the demands of its growing population and industries.

    Date: Wednesday 22nd October, 2025
    Time: 7.30am - 9.00am
