QFI State Council Appointment

At the core of membership value for your Leadership team is the QFI State Council.
Upon joining the Queensland Futures Institute (QFI), member organisations nominate senior executives for consideration for appointment to the QFI State Council.

LEADING MEMBERS

Leading Membership represents the Queensland Futures Institute’s most influential and engaged level of corporate membership.

Leading members recognise that their long-term growth and success are intrinsically linked to Queensland’s broader economic and social prosperity. With a regional, state, national or international footprint, they demonstrate a sustained commitment to expanding their significant investment in Queensland’s future.

These members play an active leadership role in shaping informed public debate and contributing to the development of forward-looking public policy on issues critical to the State’s success. They bring both the capacity and the willingness to invest in, champion and lead new ideas, fresh thinking and innovative solutions.

Leading members are allocated five State Councillor nominations and gain premium and exclusive opportunities to contribute to and access research, development and networking opportunities for senior executives and emerging leaders alike.
INNOVATING MEMBERS

Innovating Members invest to strengthen organisational outcomes and Queensland’s long-term prosperity.

Committed to active participation in public policy dialogue, Innovating Members engage directly with the Queensland Futures Institute’s research, policy programs and event activities. They contribute their expertise, insights and experience to support the growth and diversification of Queensland’s economy.

For many organisations, Innovating Membership provides a strategic stepping stone on the journey toward Leading Membership, supporting capability-building, influence and profile as they grow.

ADVANCING

The membership category for smaller organisations having an existing and growing Queensland presence, or which are newly emerging.

Advancing members recognise the value of engaging with the QFI’s networks to grow new opportunities for their organisation. They aim to engage in and learn from the QFI’s public policy activities and to promote their brand and capabilities. An Advancing member seeks to build the profile of its leadership team and its brand.

LEADING

The core and most impactful category of corporate membership with the Queensland Futures Institute.

A Leading member is highly attuned to the fact that their growth and success is closely intertwined with the broader economic success of the State. They have a regional, state, national or international presence and long-term plans to grow their already significant investment in Queensland’s future. Leading members are committed to driving informed debate and developing public policy solutions on matters core to Queensland’s future prosperity. They have the preparedness and capacity to invest in and lead the development of new ideas and new thinking. 

INNOVATING

The second highest category of membership.

Innovating members recognise the importance of investing to enhance the impact and the dividends for their organisation from growing Queensland’s future prosperity. An Innovating member is committed to engaging in the public policy debate through actively contributing to QFI’s policy and research programs and various event activities. They are prepared to provide their expertise and experience to develop new ideas and new thinking to grow Queensland’s economy.
