The Council for Queensland’s Regions, a collaborative, future-focused forum to accelerate Queensland’s economic growth by supporting regional investment and development. 

 Purpose 

1. Provide a platform for regional leaders, regional investors, business and industry, and stakeholders, to discuss and promote shared challenges and opportunities.
2. Enhance literacy and public understanding of the critical role regional investment and growth plays in Queensland’s economic and social future. 
3. Offer individual regions a forum to highlight and attract investment into key sectors. 
4. Advocate for policies and strategies that drive regional investment, infrastructure, and economic growth. 
5. Work closely with government, industry, and community leaders to reinforce the significance of Queensland’s regions. 
6. Coordinate activities such as industry promotion, workforce development, and scholarship programs to strengthen regional growth.
