It is in this context that the QFI uses its unique and influential position to develop and deliver new opportunities to enhance learning opportunities that we believe will deliver the greatest gains for our future prosperity.
The QFI’s focus on improving learning outcomes is to partner with our members that are learning institutions. This includes tertiary, secondary, and vocational learning providers.
A highly capable Public Sector is one of the essential ingredients for creating a prosperous future for Queensland. The Public Sector drives and supports economic growth through its various policy, funding, and investment programs.
The QFI has the position that empowering and building the capability of the Public Sector will lead to better economic outcomes. It has commenced significant investment under its Public Sector Development Initiative, partnering with its tertiary education members to develop and deliver the highest quality public sector learning and development programs.
Commencing July 2024, the initial program of the Public Sector Development Initiative is the Executive Public Sector-Industry Program, developed and delivered by the University of Queensland (UQ).
The program seeks to actively support the growth and development of Queensland’s Public Sector by fostering purposeful engagement between Queensland’s public and private sectors.
