Continued growth and evolution in learning approaches and services for all Queenslander, be they early childhood or late in life, always have been and always will be the one key element for a successful future.
Queensland’s approaches to learning and its learning institutions compete very successfully on the world stage. This is the result of recognising the value of learning and purposeful, considered investment across the learning ecosystem.
It is in this context that the QFI uses its unique and influential position to actively seek new opportunities to enhance learning opportunities that we believe will deliver the greatest gains for our future prosperity.
The QFI’s focus on improving learning outcomes is to partner with our many members that are learning institutions. This includes tertiary, secondary and vocational learning providers.
The QFI’s initial learning areas it believes will contribute to greater prosperity are the Public Sector, Public Policy, and Civics and Citizenship.
A highly capable Public Sector is one of the essential ingredients for creating a prosperous future for our State. The public sector drives and influences economic growth through its various policy, funding and legislative programs.
The QFI has partnered with the University of Queensland to deliver its Executive Public Sector-Industry Program. The program seeks to actively support the growth and development of Queensland’s Public Sector, including fostering purposeful engagement between Queensland’s public and private sectors.
Public Policy and Civics and Citizenship - these programs are in the early stages of development, including the identification of appropriate partners. Further details will be provided in due course.
